COLLEYVILLE POLICE LINK ARRESTED FELON TO PREVIOUS CRIMES IN THE CITY
On Saturday, February 25, 2023, the Colleyville Police Department, in conjunction with neighboring agencies, arrested a burglary suspect after a 5-hour search.
The arrestee was identified as 33-year-old black male, Peirre Jerome McClendon Sr.
McClendon was arraigned on the following charges:
Evading Arrest or Detention
Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
Burglary of a Vehicle with 2 or more Previous Convictions
Theft of a Firearm Enhanced
After affirmatively linking McClendon to burglaries in the Colleyville Thornbury neighborhood the previous week, McClendon was also arraigned on warrants for the following charges:
Burglary of a Vehicle with 2 or more Previous Convictions – 5 counts
Burglary of a Habitation
As this investigation continues, additional charges may be filed. McClendon is currently in custody at Tarrant County Corrections Center and his bond amounts for all charges combined equals $42,500.
