Main Street Bistro & Bakery in Grapevine Changes How You Order, Adds Seasonal Menu Items and Introduces New Executive Chef
Introducing ‘Chez Fabien’ concept all day, every day with host seating and tableside ordering
Main Street Bistro & Bakery is now a full-service restaurant for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. What does that mean? No more ordering at the counter and then scrambling to find a table, especially during busy times. Now, anytime you visit, check in at the host stand. You will be seated, and then your order will be taken tableside.
Introducing Chez Fabien
The full-service concept was introduced at the restaurant several years ago for dinner service. All day service was recently changed in response to customer feedback. The dine-in, full-service aspect is being called “Chez Fabien,” named after owner and chef Fabien Goury.
The restaurant will continue to offer counter service for those just looking for some freshly baked pastries and desserts, a cup of coffee and/or a to-go order. There will be a few seats on the bakery side of the restaurant just for that purpose. For those patrons that once were tempted by the pastries while standing in line, the restaurant staff now presents a tray of pastries and other baked-goods when beverage orders are taken.
Falling Temperatures Bring a Delicious Fall Menu
Chez Fabien has created a seasonal menu that will warm your heart. The new menu includes a soup du jour available for both lunch and dinner along with Tomato Bisque and French Onion Soup Gratin, both offered daily. In addition to the soup du jour, the restaurant has new daily dinner specials for the season that include lamb, duck, prime rib and more. The daily seasonal offerings are:
Day Soup du Jour Dinner Special
Monday Ginger Carrot Soup n/a (no dinner service)
Tuesday Roast Chicken Noodle Soup Gnocchi à la Parisienne
Wednesday Vegan Butternut Squash Soup Duck Breast
Thursday Vegetable Corn Chowder Prime Rib Roast
Friday Lobster Bisque Bouillabaisse
Saturday Vegetarian Loaded Baked Potato Soup Trout Almondine
Sunday Chipotle Chicken Tortilla Soup Lamb Mixed Grill
New Executive Chef – Martin Meadow
The new seasonal menu was created by Martin Meadow, Executive Chef at Main Street Bistro & Bakery. Chef Meadow rejoined the team this past summer. Meadow brings more than 16 years of cooking experience to Main Street Bistro & Bakery/Chez Fabien. He began his career in Houston and has worked in Minneapolis, southern France, Dallas/Fort Worth, Cabo San Lucas, the Bahamas and San Diego.
