Photo Used without Permission or Acknowledgement; Rep. Capriglione is it Stealing of Borrowing from LNO to use on your Campaign Attack Flyer?
I just returned on Friday night Feb. 9, 2018 from a 5 day business trip in Cleveland, Ohio. During my time in Cleveland my attention was on other matters away from local politics.
Especially as it concerned the critical decision for Texas House of Representatives Dist. 98. That is incumbent representative Giovanni Capriglione versus Keller Councilman Armin Mizani for the Republican primary election in March, that will, for all practical purposes, determine if voters go with the new direction of Mizani or stay with 3 term current Dist. 98 House representative Capriglione.
Imagine my surprise when I returned late Friday night and went thru the week’s mail only to discover the; “The Conservative Choice is Clear” flyer from the obviously well funded Capriglione campaign. The first two bullet points on Representative Capriglione were:
1.) “Successful Small Business Owner”
2.) “Prove job creator who invests in Texas Small businesses”
Certainly Local News Only.com via it’s corporate name “LocalNetCom,” is most certainly a small business located in Dist. 98, since 2000; which begs the question to my current Representative Capriglione; “How was using a photo, taken without permission, from a Local News Only article of Mr. Mizani, and in turn used in your ATTACK flyer, contribute in anyway to a small business?
Copyright infringement and stealing a photo from LocalNewsOnly.com, without even the courtesy of asking or providing credit of the photo’s source, does not seem to reflect a concern for a small business in your district?
As far as coverage by LNO provided to this campaign, only last week, LNO published photos from the Straw Poll in Hurst. The photo below is an example of LNO coverage of Representative Capriglione. The Straw Poll was won by Armin Mizani.

THE CLEAR EVIDENCE OF THE ORIGINATION OF MIZANI’S PHOTO ON LNO BELOW!
A simple request for permission to use LNO’s photo in his Campaign Flyer would have been the minimum appropriate request!

Giovanni continues to embarrass himself. Sad for our district.
