Colleyville Area Chamber of Commerce to Host 33rd Annual City Slickers Auction
The Colleyville Area Chamber of Commerce announces the 33rd annual City Slickers Auction presented by The Thompson Group at Classic Chevrolet will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Hurst Conference Center from 5:00pm – 9:00pm. Hurst Conference Center is located at 1601 Campus Drive, Hurst, TX 76054.
City Slickers is the chamber’s largest fundraising event which benefits a variety of programs and helps to fulfill the Chamber mission. “City Slickers is meant to bring the community together while supporting local businesses. It will be an evening to enjoy with friends,” said Genny Hale, Vice President of Woodhaven Bank and Event Co-chair.
The event will feature food samples from over 10 local restaurants including Boi Na Braza, Boulevard Eatz, Market Street, Eatzi’s, Cantina Laredo and will also feature complimentary beverages/beer & wine. New to the event is the City Slickers Craft Corner where attendees can sample craft beers from local breweries. However, the main attraction to City Slickers is the array of silent and live auction packages that are available for bidding. This is all included in the general admission ticket price of $15 each or $25 for two (includes unlimited food and beverage).
Randy Johnson, Bear Creek Spirits & Wine and Event Co-chair, said, “People can enjoy networking, dancing, live music and delicious food with an opportunity to bid on some great auction items while socializing with members of the community.”
A returning favorite is the Mac’s On Main VIP Bourbon Room presented by Smart Realty. The VIP room will provide the opportunity to enjoy Texas bourbon, premium wine and food provided by Mac’s On Main. VIP guests will also be entered to win exclusive raffle prizes. This exclusive area to City Slickers is offered at a ticket price of $100 per person. Limited number of tickets are available.
