Plans are underway for Colleyville’s citywide National Night Out event to be held Tuesday, October 6 at Colleyville City Park. This event brings together police and fire departments, homeowners’ associations, public safety vendors, social agencies, churches, local businesses and residents. The Police and Fire department’s Citizen’s Academy Alumni Associations sponsor the festivities. This is the primary fundraiser for the alumni associations each year. The event showcases public safety vehicles, demonstrations, and activities. The final activity of the night will be the annual Colleyville Police Department vs. Colleyville Fire Department softball game. All activities will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Colleyville City Park. Event hours are 6:00-9:00 p.m.
A vendor area for local businesses and agencies to demonstrate and promote their products/services will also be onsite.
