SCHOOL IS BACK — PACK YOUR PATIENCE & SLOW DOWN! 
As our students head back to school, we have two important reminders for everyone traveling through Keller:
First — give each other a little grace. 
We know the first week or two of school can be a madhouse. There are parents learning new drop-off and pick-up procedures, families navigating unfamiliar campuses, new teenage drivers behind the wheel, buses making frequent stops, and a LOT more pedestrians and bicyclists on our roadways.
There will be longer lines. Someone may miss a turn. A new driver may take an extra second. Drop-off may not go perfectly.
Be patient. Be kind. Give each other some grace. We promise — everyone will get the hang of it!
Second — slow down and pay attention. 
Our Traffic Unit will be out in full force around our schools, with an emphasis on school zones and the traffic violations that put our students, crossing guards, parents, and school staff at risk.
Put the phone down.
Obey traffic signals and crossing guards.
Stop for school buses when required. Watch carefully for pedestrians and bicyclists.
And most importantly — SLOW DOWN in our school zones.Our goal isn’t complicated: we want every student, parent, teacher, and staff member to get to school safely and make it home safely at the end of the day.
