I could not be more pleased to see thoughtful moderates elected to our City Council, and the NO vote on Resolution One. The people came out and have spoken. We need a local government that represents all of us, not just an elite, wealthy, few on the far right whose only concern is for themselves. I hope this is one more stepping stone to a more representative Texas government. If nothing else, this election proves that every vote matters…even in Texas. A special shout out to Battle Ground Texas for backing Taylor and Coplen! Yes, we can!

We had the largest voter turnout in the History of Colleyville!
Feels kind of good to know I battled City Council members – A certain PAC – AND Battle ground Texas, to only lose by 174 votes!
Not bad for an ole’ boy who had enough of BIG government – Got off the couch and ran for the people’s voice!
