The Colleyville Panthers (1-2, 0-0 District 4-5A Div. I ) were defeated by the Trinity Trojans (3-0, 0-0 District 3-6A Div. I) 35-28 in a non-district game at Pennington Field in Bedford on Thursday, Sep. 13. Colleyville nearly made a comeback after trailing 28-7 before scoring 2 touchdowns late to make it a one-possession game. The Panthers next game is the first district game against Carrollton Newman Smith (1-2, 0-0 District 4-5A Div. I) at Mustang-Panther Stadium on Sep. 28.
