Houston, TX –Texans for Educational Freedom (TEF), the most successful school board-focused PAC in Texas, proudly announces its endorsement of Chad Green for the State Board of Education (SBOE). Green, a dedicated advocate for educational excellence and parental involvement, is running for the SBOE to represent the best interests of the millions of families across Texas.
Chad Green currently serves as a McKinney ISD school board member and has consistently worked to improve educational outcomes, foster innovation, and ensure that parents have a voice in their children’s education. His commitment to putting students and parents first aligns perfectly with the mission of TEF.
Incumbent Pam Little, Green’s opponent, took concerning actions at the SBOE meeting last week. Little voted against limiting classroom instruction of Title IX to the language passed by Congress, opening the door for the radical interpretation of gender ideology proposed by President Biden’s Department of Education to be taught in Texas classrooms. Furthermore, she voted against entrepreneurship curricula that would nurture self-reliant characteristics and explain the threat China poses to business due to intellectual property theft.
Christopher Zook, Jr., President of Texans for Educational Freedom, emphasized the vital importance of SBOE races, stating, “The SBOE and their decisions directly impact the lives of millions of Texas students. The standards and curriculum adopted by the SBOE can have a profound and lasting effect on our children’s education. It is imperative that we elect candidates who are dedicated to eliminating liberal ideologies and protecting the welfare and success of our children. I am confident Chad Green will bring values that reflect the parents and students of Texas to the SBOE, and we look forward to his victory.”
Texans for Educational Freedom is the leading school board-focused political action committee in Texas. With a history of impactful action, they have successfully influenced educational policies and elected officials to create a brighter future for Texas students. One of their most notable achievements was the historic flipping of a traditionally Democratic SBOE district, resulting in the election of LJ Francis.
