EULESS PD PRESS RELEASE
On Tuesday, April 11, 2023, The Euless Police Dept. Detectives were summoned to the HEB ISD Administration building in Bedford in reference to a Trinity High School educator allegedly having an improper relationship with a student. An investigation was conducted by Euless detectives and based on the evidence identified in the case, it was found that a criminal offense had occurred. The suspect was identified as Ruben Francisco Martin. Martin is a 29 year old male, employed at Trinity High School as a teacher and an assistant wrestling coach. The victim, at the time the offense occurred, is a 16 year old juvenile female student at Trinity High School. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, an arrest warrant was issued for Martin by the Euless Police Dept. On April 20, 2023, arrangements were made through Martin’s attorney to turn himself into authorities at which point he was taken into custody and transported to Tarrant County jail on a charge of IMPROPER RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EDUCATOR AND STUDENT (a Second Degree Felony).
