Clear the Shelters
Find your fur-ever friend! During the month of August, the North Richland Hills Animal Adoption & Rescue Center (AARC) is waiving adoption fees for all adoptable pets in support of “Clear the Shelters,” a national campaign in August that encourages people to adopt from their local shelters.
Your adoption at the AARC will still include the spay/neuter of your pet, their first set of vaccines and a microchip for identification. If you are a North Richland Hills resident, your new adoption will also include your new pet’s first year’s pet license for free. Thanks to the Clear the Shelters corporate sponsors and the North Tarrant County Chapter of National Charity League, adopters will also received a goodie bag for their new pet (while supplies last).
To view adoptable pets, please visit www.nrhtx.com/pets.
If you are not able to adopt at this time, but would still like to support this initiative, donations can be made online. Donations will help cover the costs to care for and spay/neuter our shelter pets. If you have any questions about this event, please call 817-427-6570 or email animalcontrol2@nrhtx.com.
