At approximately 2:00am today, Hurst Police Officers responded to a shots fired call and welfare concern at a home in the 600 block of Willow. After officers contacted an occupant by phone, additional shots were fired from inside the home. NETCAST, our regional swat team, responded and is working to bring the incident to a safe conclusion. This is still an active incident and we ask for the public to avoid the area.
