The Grapevine Mustangs (21-5, 4-0 5A District 7) beat the Birdville Hawks (13-6, 2-2 5A District 7) 77-60 in a district game on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at GHS. The Mustangs remained tied with the White Settlement Brewer (17-4, 4-0 5A District 7) for first place in district play after the win.
