SAVE The GREEN
WHAT: The residents of Westlake are standing up to fight Town Hall tonight at their Planning and Zoning hearing! Town staff has endorsed a plan to developed 62 acres of “Open Space” that has been protected by Town ordinance for more than 25 years. The space is designated as the future site of the Town’s one and only park. The development will include clear cutting the woodland parcel and cutting down the hillside to make way for homes that will peer down into the backyards of all their neighbors.
“The town once identified by Forbes as the most affluent neighborhood in America is home to a small but wealthy populace of athletes, business executives and celebrities including the legendary golf instructor Hank Haney, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten, nationally known radio personality Glenn Beck and BNSF Railway’s executive chairman Matthew Rose.” –
