Colleyville Sept. 30, 2017
Join Colleyville Police, Fire for National Night Out on Oct. 3
The public is invited to party with Colleyville police officers and firefighters at National Night Out on Oct. 3.
The festivities begin at 6 p.m. at City Park. The annual event allows the community members to meet the men and women who work to keep Colleyville safe while having fun. There will be plenty of games and activities including a public safety scavenger hunt, dunk tank, and more.
Children are encouraged to bring their bicycles and helmets to participate in the bicycle course. The night ends with police officers and firefighters competing in the Bravest vs. Finest softball game. Former Texas Rangers MLB players are taking sides and bring their skills to a game of quick base running, athletic catches, and into-the-parking-lot home runs.
There will be food for sale and a silent auction to help raise funds for the Colleyville Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association and the Colleyville Citizens Fire Academy Alumni Association. Both organizations support and assist the city’s public safety departments.
