The Colleyville Heritage Panthers (2-1, 0-0 5A District 8) were finally able to beat the Trinity Trojans (1-2, 0-0 6A District 5) 31-14 in the Non-District game played Friday, Sep. 15 at Pennington Field in Bedford. The Panthers blew open a close game in the fourth quarter after a critical Euless Trinity fumble. The Colleyville quarterbacks Jagger LaRoe and Landry French combined for three touchdown passes. The Trojans were unable to put any points on the board in the 2nd half due to a strong Panthers defensive effort. Colleyville next game will be their first district game against Fort Worth Dunbar (0-2, 0-0 5A District 8) at Mustang-Panther Stadium on Thursday, Sep. 28.
