Colleyville Resident says slow down 5G Cell Phone Antennae in Colleyville .. Letter to Editor
This is a battle between political people. How this became an article about Larry Autrey being involved in an ethics complaint (when he was actually fined for a procedural error) I can’t understand. Larry is an honest man and a good citizen who supports the city with his money and time. Moreover, he would never jeopardize his career or reputation by intentionally doing anything illegal or unethical. Maybe you should get back to reporting the really “important” news about who’s kids got caught drinking last weekend.

Patty thank you for your comments, although we detect a little satire with “getting back to reporting the really “important” news about who’s kids got caught drinking last weekend.” However, the basis of this article came directly from the report of the Texas Ethics Commission in Austin.
However, the article was more than just a procedural error of Mr. Autrey; perhaps Mr. Autrey never envisioned himself named in a lawsuit for slander as the Treasurer of Protect Colleyville PAC. Perhaps Mr. Autrey was unaware of the vitriol that the PAC was going to process, , perhaps Mr. Autrey was left, “holding the bag,” for the conduct of others. Perhaps before one becomes the focal point of a PAC, one should review the participants of the PAC and the Texas Ethics Commission rules.
The article had nothing to do with Mr. Autrey’s being an honest man and a good citizen who supports the city, LNO does not dispute this point; but reported the findings of the Ethics Commission. and a lawsuit currently headed to the Appellate Court. It would appear the real culprits of the PAC avoided the limelight by knowingly NOT BEING THE TREASURER OF PROTECT COLLEYVILLE.
