The Grapevine Mustangs defeated the Corpus Christi Trojans in the UIL Class 5A State Semifinal game on Thursday, May 27 at Dell Diamond Stadium in Round Rock 3-2. Grapevine (33-12) will play Port Neches-Groves (33-8-2) for a second consecutive 5A State Championship at 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 10.
