City Council Election Canceled

The North Richland Hills City Council has canceled its May 6, 2017 general election because all four candidates were unopposed. Council Members Tito Rodriguez, Tom Lombard, Mike Benton and Tim Welch will be sworn into office for two-year terms on May 15. The filing period for the 2017 general election was held January 18 through February 17. While there will be no City Council election, residents of North Richland Hills will go to the polls on May 6 to elect school board trustees for Birdville ISD and Keller ISD.
