The North Texas Mean Green (2-3, 4-5 Conference-USA) was up ended by the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (5-1, 7-3 Conference-USA) 24-45 on Saturday, Nov. 5 at Apogee Stadium in Denton. The loss all but destroyed the Mean Green’s bowl hopes. Two-straight losses have drop North Texas to 4-5 on the season, and the Mean Green will need to win two of their final three games to be bowl eligible. North Texas’ next game will be a conference matchup with Western Kentucky Saturday, Nov. 12, in Bowling Green, Ky., at 2:30 PM.
