Grapevine Art Dealers Association hosts free fine art event in Historic Downtown Grapevine
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (September 27, 2016) – Grapevine Art Dealers Association (GADA) will host the Fourth Annual Fall Gallery Night on Saturday, October 1 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. in Historic Downtown Grapevine. Fall Gallery Night promotes the city’s artistic offerings and member galleries. Art enthusiasts will enjoy sculptures, original paintings, hand-blown glass and demonstrations by local artists. Guests can walk along Historic Main Street and enjoy an exciting evening of fine art while visiting all six GADA galleries. The event is free to the public.
A Touch of Paris Art Gallery & Studio is owned by internationally recognized French artist Dominique Galleron. The gallery showcases her original fine art ranging from landscape to figurative, in addition to abstracts, as well as local and international sculptors working with various forms of artistic media. Featured during Fall Gallery Night will be ArtMonkey Studio’s “Art You Can Wear,” including jewelry and other items. In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the gallery will donate 10% of all sales during Gallery Night to Susan G. Komen. In addition, Dominique will be donating a special painting, which will be used to raise funds through a silent auction held during Gallery Night. 202 W. Great American West Gallery features some of the finest western artists in the world. This historic setting complements the paintings and bronzes of Native Americans, frontiersmen, cavalry, pioneers, cowboys and ranchers among expansive landscapes. During Fall Gallery Night, Paul Moore will be doing a live sculpture demonstration. Paul is a member of the very prestigious Cowboy Artists of America and has won several Gold and Silver Awards for sculpture in his distinguished career. Giddens Gallery of Fine Art, owned by John and Cherie Giddens, offers work from a vast variety of highly acclaimed Texas artists. Filling the walls of this diverse gallery are paintings of every style and medium plus sculptures in glass, wood and metal with many “Up-Cycle” creations. Paintings also include watercolor paintings by Cherie Giddens. During Fall Gallery Night, Giddens Gallery will have several featured activities:

- Gallery artists, including two new artists, will be available to discuss their exciting new works.

Holder Dane Gallery & Art Studios represents traditional and contemporary art, with a variety of sculpture, paintings, pottery and jewelry. During Fall Gallery Night, meet the artists and join in their second interactive painting event with M.T. Hunt. “One Colorful Chaos” Part Two will once again offer guests the opportunity to lift a brush and help create an 8 ft. x 8 ft. color-filled painting.

The Grand and Tower Galleries are located in the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau building. The Tower Gallery hosts an exhibit from the Pastel Society of the Southwest. There will be a live art demonstration during Fall Gallery Night. The exhibit runs October 1 – 30. Works are available for purchase. Vetro Glassblowing Studio & Gallery houses many fine glass artists’ work and glass jewelry.
