Fort Worth, Texas August 5, 2016
The Tarrant County Republican Party recently launched their Victory Efforts for the 2016 General Election. These efforts will work to identify, register, and turn-out Republican voters this November.
Recently-elected Tarrant County Republican Party Chair, Tim O’Hare, named State Representative Stephanie Klick (R, TX-91) as the Tarrant County Victory Chair for 2016. Klick will work closely with local campaigns and elected officials to defend incumbents and take new ground from the Democrats. First Elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 2012, Klick represents House District 91 which serves the cities of Haltom City, Richland Hills, North Richland Hills, Watauga and a portion of Fort Worth.
Prior to her service in the Texas House of Representatives, Klick spent six years as Chairwoman of the Tarrant County Republican Party, where she had remarkable success in electing Republicans and ensuring integrity at the ballot box. Klick has four grown children: a daughter and three sons. She and her husband Don have been married 36 years and are proud grandparents of six grandchildren. Klick has extensive campaign experience in local and statewide politics, and is committed to leading the Tarrant County team to victory this November.
Tim O’Hare welcomed the start of the Victory efforts by saying, “After eight years of oppressive leadership under Barack Obama, it is critical that all Republicans work hard to ensure that Republicans win up-and-down the ballot this November. I am thrilled to have Representative Klick leading the fight in Tarrant County. Her extensive knowledge and campaign experience will be invaluable as we take the fight to the Democrats.”
Klick recently stated, “I am honored to have the opportunity to serve in this critical position while working alongside so many exceptional Tarrant County Republicans to ensure victory this November.“
