Moderator either biased or uninformed and she’s a judge!

I think many people don’t really understand how bad the system works against the ordinary citizen who does not have time to watch closely. Let me give you one recent example.
At the League of women voters annual candidate forum held in Hurst last week, the “unbiased” moderator who also happens to be a judge, started the debate with a question of both Mayor candidates. It took us all by surprise. The question was what will each of them do about Robinhood?

Mayor Newton was asked first and he simply said something to the effect that this is more of a school board issue and a Texas state legislature issue so he didn’t really have a lengthy response. On the other hand Mayor Kelly had a very long and prepared answer and went over his time period. ( I was looking for my gavel it was so long). She gave Mayor Newton a chance to follow up and their positions were identical. She asked another but very misinformed question about when will glade road be widened between 121 and Heritage. That is Euless and there was never a plan to widen it. I thought at the time these were very strange questions and did not know why she was even asking.

Then last weekend when Protect Colleyville put out their cartoon it became extremely clear why she was asking such strange and I informed questions. In that video it rehashed the lie that the challengers did not want improvements. The cartoon went on to say that our team is FOR Robinhood. That was ludicrous but it now makes sense. The whole thing was a coordinated attack.

Yes the incumbent advantage is alive and well. The support of the very deceptive Protect Colleyville PAC which likes to break rules is very much part of the game they are playing in this city.

We need to vote for honesty and transparency. that means Lindamood, Newton and Tammy!
