Thanks for sharing this important view of the dirty politics of the clear majority of the City Council members. protect Colleyville appear to be backed by strong Democrat Liberals. They are clearly out of touch with the Conservative candidates who are challenging them. We have Council members who are not paid, being supported by thousands of dollars from Liberals. This clears up a lot about the current council members.

Comment:
Rick McDonald, Due to the fact that I wasn’t in Colleyville when the “Village” was built, I won’t make any comments. However, since I moved here with my family, I have a vested interest in keeping Colleyville’s peaceful atmosphere for my children and me to continue to enjoy! The High Density that was approved by all on council except Chris Putnam and Carol Wollin, is EXACTLY what the residents fought to keep out of Colleyville back in the 1970’s. THAT’S WHY IT’S IN THE MASTER PLAN! The residents wanted to keep Colleyville’s country atmosphere! Colleyville has NEVER suffered financially, for all these years! However, due to the fact that the Master Plan wasn’t adhered to,,Colleyville residents and schools will feel the pinch and congestion!

It has been clear from the beginning in last year’s city council election that the majority of the council, starting with the Mayor on down are clearly Liberals. Some are trying to mask their activities by claiming veterans’ support to appear conservative. When we have seen the rubber stampers support the Mayor’s Higher density, dramatic higher water bills, effectively taxing large lot homes what they really believe. It’s hard to understand how they have stayed in office this long with their big spending, bigger government agendas!
