Damian Merrick is already under Indictment from Grand Juries in Tarrant and Hood County on 9 counts including delivery of drugs to a minor, sexual assault and delivery of a controlled substance to a minor and indecency with a child.
LocalNewsOnly.com (LNO) has learned that two police departments in the State of Colorado have started investigations of Damian Merrick including allegations of delivery of drugs to minors. The allegations surround a trip with Merrick and at least four minor to a volleyball tournament in February 2015.
The Denver Police Department, as well as, the Aurora (Adams County) Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit opened the case against Merrick, earlier this year, concerning suspicions that he was providing drugs to minors. The Chief District Attorney David Blackett is believed to be considering the case against Merrick and another adult, a coach at a Dallas Middle School.
