STARS Theater Company announces the 2015 Winter Musical, Walt Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Jr. Performances are January 8-10 and 15-17 at Tarrant County College Northeast Campus. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 pm and Sunday matinees are at 3:00pm.
The captivating cartoon characters and mesmerizing music made popular by the Walt Disney movie come to life in this delightful retelling of the beloved story. Who can forget Lumiere, Mrs. Potts, Cogswoth, and the gang singing “Be Our Guest” or the charming love song “Beauty and the Beast.”
Belle and the Beast will be played Jennifer Howe of Southlake and Kirk Zanetti of Plano. Lumiere, Babette, Cogsworth, and Madame De La Grande, the Wardrobe, will be played by Saginaw resident Taylor Johnson, Cathryn D’Amore from Keller, Pierson Van den Dyssel from Southlake, and Lauren Raymond from Grand Prairie. Megan Elizabeth Sickels of Arlington will play the enchanting Mrs. Potts.
The production is directed by Hurst resident, Lu Anne Tyson, with vocal direction by Vicki Keller from Arlington and choreography by Sue Hurst from Grapevine. STARS’ production of Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Jr. is packed with stunning costumes and delightful music.
