SENATOR BURTON ANNOUNCES THE GRAND OPENING OF HER DISTRICT OFFICE
FORT WORTH – State Senator Konni Burton (R-Colleyville) hosted the official grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration for Senate District 10’s District Office. The office partnered with the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce to promote the event and welcome her legislative office to downtown Fort Worth.
Open since March, 2015, the District Office has served the needs of the community and Senator Burton’s constituents in Tarrant County. The senator is fortunate to represent a populous and diverse district, and the office’s downtown location has proven to be the most effective for constituent services.
This grand opening celebration comes during the holiday season, a time when the pace of the year has slowed, and in the case of legislators, the 84th Legislative Session and its aftermath have concluded. The senator noted, “I am happy we are finally able to announce our presence in the heart of Senate District 10, and I look forward to working for the people and businesses of the district as we move into 2016.”
Senator Burton welcomed the public to the grand opening. Special thanks are due to the Fort Worth Chamber and the people of Tarrant County who participated in this memorable milestone during the term of office of an elected official.
