Grab a costume and “come as you aren’t” to one of Colleyville’s most popular events, the Haunted Trail Fest. Every year, ghouls and goblins—and a Batman or two or three—gather for a hauntingly happy evening of arts and crafts, games, prizes, costume contests (12 & under), and fun before venturing down the haunted trail. This Colleyville tradition features a trip along a wooded path filled with scary creatures, spooky sounds, and ghostly special effects. It happens Saturday, Oct. 17, from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Trail activities cater to younger children from 7:00-7:30 p.m.; the fright factor intensifies after 7:30 p.m. There is a $3 per person charge to enter the haunted trail; all other activities are free.
Haunted Trail Fest takes place at the Colleyville Nature Center at 100 Mill Wood Drive (from Highway 26: turn west on Glade Road and south on Mill Creek Drive).
