Traffic Alert
Motorists on Mid Cities Boulevard should expect delays the evening of Monday, September 14, 2015 because of the Birdville High School homecoming parade.
The parade is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at Legacy Church of Christ located at 8801 Mid Cities Boulevard. It will travel south on Martin Road and east on Mid Cities ending at the Birdville Fine Arts & Athletics Complex.
One eastbound lane of traffic on Mid Cities, between Cardinal/Martin and Precinct Line Road, will be closed for the parade. The lane closure will begin at approximately 5:30 p.m. and may last until 7:30 p.m.
The intersection of Mid Cities at Cardinal/Martin and the intersection of Mid Cities at Hawk Ave. will also be temporarily closed in all directions while the parade passes.
Motorists are asked to use caution and expect delays when traveling this area.
