Please send any questions, concerns, or comments to 26@colleyville.com.
All main lane paving is complete. TxDOT’s contractor is scheduled to begin landscaping and permanent striping the week of July 27, as well as construction of the Cotton Belt Trail. There will be intermittent lane closures during the coming weeks, while this work is being done. TxDOT reports that all remaining work, including the medians and parkway behind the curb, is scheduled to be completed by the end of August.
Cotton Belt Trail
The Cotton Belt Trail linking Colleyville to Grapevine will be constructed on the north side of SH 26 (nearest to the railroad tracks). The trail will vary in width from 14 feet on the bridge to between 8 and 10 feet on the approaches to the bridge. Once TxDOT’s portion of the Cotton Belt Trail, between the Colleyville entry sign and the Pool Road/Brumlow Avenue intersection, is complete, the city will finish the connection to the trail west of the railroad tracks. Work on that connection is planned for September, depending on completion of TxDOT’s portion of the trail construction.

All of the city’s new water and sewer infrastructure is on track to be completed by the end of summer, and Atmos and Time Warner should complete their relocation work at about the same time. AT&T expects to finish late this winter.
On the west side of SH 26, from Village Lane south to Glade Road, the new water line is in. This will complete the water line placement for this project. Tie-ins from businesses to the new line will be done during overnight hours to minimize disruption to businesses and drivers. No lane closures are expected.
The contractor has now moved the southern section of SH 26 to bore for a sanitary sewer line. Once this is complete, services will be tied in and the water/sewer relocations will be complete.
AT&T crews will be placing a new duct bank on the east side of SH 26 from Professional Court to Thompson Terrace; they’ll also be pouring new telephone manholes. No lane closures are expected.
Atmoswill be boring a new gas main from Centerpark to Brown Trail. They’ll also be doing tie-ins from Centerpark to Church Street. No lane closures are expected.
Time Warnerwill be doing aerial work in various locations and boring on the west side of SH 26 from John McCain Road to Tennison Parkway. Verizon will be boring in the same area, No lane closures are expected.
SOUTH WHITE CHAPEL BOULEVARD RECONSTRUCTION
Construction continues on South White Chapel Boulevard, from the Colleyville border to West Continental Boulevard. Construction hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. During those hours, the road will be reduced to one lane. Delays should be expected. Construction should be complete by mid-August.

The contractor will be backfilling curb and gutter from Bogart Drive to Church Street, and from Mission Lane to Church Street and lowering manholes. Once curb and gutter is in place on both sides of the road, the contractor will start on driveways. All affected residents will be notified.
Residents on Pleasant Run Road, from Bogart Drive to Colleyville Terrace, as well as the residents in Laurel Oaks, will still be able to access Pleasant Run Road, but it will be limited to one lane. The same is expected from Colleyville Terrace to Church Street.
Pleasant Run Road is closed from Mission Lane to Church Street and from Bogart Drive to Church Street.Entry and exit for residents, as well as all service and emergency vehicles will be from Church Street.
