Celebrate our country’s most patriotic holiday on Saturday, July 4, at the annual Northeast Tarrant Family 4th Celebration and Fireworks Show. Food, fun and entertainment for the whole family will start at 5 p.m. with kid’s activities, a salute to veterans, stage performances of local talent and plenty of food and drink. This year’s celebration will feature a free concert from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. with contemporary country music sensation Derek Anthony. Later in the evening, enjoy the best area fireworks show with plenty of dazzling and stunning pyrotechnics starting at approximately 9:30 p.m.!
Schedule of Events
5:00 p.m. – Activities begin (Entertainment, Food Trucks, Bounce Houses, Community Booths, etc.);
6:30 p.m. – Corn Dog Eating Contest;
7:00 p.m. – Salute to Veterans;
8:00 p.m.- FREE Concert Featuring Local Country Music Artist Derek Anthony;
9:30 p.m.- Fireworks show with choreographed, musical simulcast on KTCU 88.7 FM The Choice.
Location, Parking, Admission
The Family 4th Celebration will take place at The Hills Center, 6351 Boulevard 26 in North Richland Hills (located south of Loop 820 near the intersection of Boulevard 26 and Broadway Avenue).
Free parking is available at The Hills Center, 6351 Boulevard 26 in North Richland Hills and at Wiley G. Thomas Coliseum, 6108 Broadway Avenue in Haltom City. Parking will be available on a first come first served basis, so plan to come early. Vehicles will not be allowed to park along the street.
Admission is free. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from a variety of gourmet food trucks. Bounce house wrist bands will be $5 per child. Feel free to bring chairs, blankets, and games for the family to play while waiting for the fireworks. However, no outdoor cooking or grilling devices and no alcohol or personal fireworks will be permitted.

More About Country Music Sensation Derek Anthony
Derek Anthony is a local country music performer who has always had a passion for music. From the age of six, Derek was singing George Strait, Kenny Rogers and Glen Campbell. In addition to vocals, growing up, Derek played trumpet, banjo, guitar, saxophone, harmonica, baritone, and piano, giving him a wide range of styles and patterns to pull from while writing, performing, and composing.
