Franchisees for Hawaii-based Teddy’s Bigger Burgers plan to open its first Texas restaurant in Colleyville in September or October. Teddy’s currently operates restaurants in California, Washington and Iowa, plus Japan and the Philippines.
Teddy’s Bigger Burgers is a 17-year-old company that prides itself on its 100% chuck beef burgers. A typical burger comes on a potato bun with Claussen pickles, lettuce, onion, tomatoes and Teddy’s special sauce — which is a honey mustard, mayo and brown sugar based sauce. (Other burger varieties are also available.)
