Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine, Baylor Health Care System and The Cirrus Group Schedule Ground Breaking For
Baylor Medical Plaza at Keller
||(Keller, TX) – Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine, Baylor Health Care System and The Cirrus Group will break ground on Baylor Medical Plaza at Keller located at Highway 377 and Bear Creek Parkway on Tuesday, May 17 at 11:30 a.m. The 39,000 square foot facility will offer physician services, including primary care and a range of physician specialists as well as an outpatient diagnostic imaging center and laboratory services.

The Baylor Medical Plaza at Keller will open with two primary care physicians with a capacity to add up to six physicians in 8,500 square feet of the facility. The Baylor Grapevine outpatient diagnostic imaging center and laboratory will occupy 12,500 square feet and physician specialists will lease the remaining 8,000 square feet of the project. Another 10,000 square feet is available for additional physician office space or medical services space.
The Baylor Medical Plaza at Keller will serve the health care needs of Keller, Watauga, North Richland Hills, Northeast Fort Worth, Roanoke, Trophy Club, Westlake, Haslet, Saginaw and Justin. Patients of Baylor Medical Plaza will have access to Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine for hospital-based services.
“We are excited to break ground on this medical facility and bring an extension of physician’s services and specialties and offer access to outpatient diagnostic imaging services to Keller and the surrounding area,” says Laura J. Lycan, president of Baylor Medical Center at Grapevine. “We hope to have the medical plaza completed by early 2006.”
The Baylor Medical Plaza at Keller will feature:

Keller resident Kyle Phillips, D.O., specializing in family medicine, will provide patient care at the new Baylor Medical Plaza, realizes that this area is increasingly underserved with primary care physicians and specialists. “The driving force behind this project is to meet the increasing health care needs of Keller and the surrounding communities,” says Dr. Phillips, D.O. “Serving more than 150,000 residents, the Baylor Medical Plaza will offer access to primary care physicians and outpatient diagnostic imaging services, which are in high demand in this area. And with Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine the hospital of choice for consumers in the area based on market research, coming to this location to care for patients just made sense.”
The developer of the project is Dallas based firm, The Cirrus Group, LLC and the architectural firm is the Dallas-based firm Corgan Associates.
The primary care physicians in the Baylor Medical Plaza will be associated with Baylor Health Care System’s HealthTexas Provider Network. The Keller location marks the fifth primary care physician practice in the area affiliated with Baylor Health Care System. The others include: Southlake, Colleyville, Grapevine and Flower Mound.
